WEM Bible Studies- We offer small groups that meet at various times and cover a variety of relevant topics. - Thursday AM Bible Study- Led by Bryony Hite, assisted by Toery McLemore. Meeting downstairs at the church 9:30-11:30am. CHILDCARE PROVIDED! Current Study- “Love and Respect”
Girl’s Night Out- These fun outreach events are held about every 6 weeks and are usually at the church. We will occasionally go off campus for unique experiences like painting pottery or bowling. We plan these exciting events to have a casual atmosphere to enable women to invite their friends, have a relaxed evening away from home, and develop new friendships while being encouraged by the body of Christ. These events are always offered at a minimal cost and we often offer childcare. Some of the activities we have hosted in the past include a game night and slumber party, “Pampered Like a Princess” make-over and movie night, Scrap-booking, and Karaoke.
Women’s Retreat- Each year the women at Peachtree Community Church get away for a weekend together filled with worship, teaching, rest and community. In the past we have traveled to Pigeon Forge for our weekend retreat. Last year we attended the Women of Faith Conference in Atlanta, and this year we will be traveling to Toccoa Falls in October to enjoy the beautiful fall colors in the North Georgia mountains. Everyone looks forward to this event where new friendships are built, a fresh passion for the Lord is kindled and lives are impacted for the glory of God and edification of His body.
Christmas Tea- The yearly Women’s Christmas Tea is a highlight of the holiday season at Peachtree Community Church. This festive event is designed to kick off the Christmas season with elegant decorations, joyful celebration, delicious food, and most importantly an attitude of worship and awe for the gift of Jesus Christ to mankind. Gracious volunteer table hostesses set their tables with colorful linens, beautiful china, glittering candles, and an assortment of holiday themed decorations. During the evening the ladies of Peachtree and their guests enjoy uplifting worship music, an inspirational Christmas devotion, a catered meal, attentive service by the men of the church, and of course a variety of tasty teas and coffee! Each lady will go home with a special gift from their table hostess and another fun part of the evening is when we give away dozens of door-prizes. The Christmas Tea is definitely one of our favorite traditions at Peachtree and we all look forward to it with anticipation each year!
